The Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association (MATA) is a professional organization for athletic trainers and other health care practitioners who support the advancement of the profession of athletic training within the state of Maryland. Founded in 1983, it is comprised of over 500 NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainers, physicians, concerned health care providers and students.
Our Objectives

• to encourage and support the
professional development of its members

• to provide a means for the exchange of ideas

• to work to ensure that all individuals within the state of Maryland have access to quality health care

• to provide a source of service, education and reference to its members and to the citizens of Maryland who seek the services of Athletic Trainers

We Are

• AMA recognized health care professionals

• Unique health care providers working under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitative services to patients

• Educated in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of medical conditions resulting from injury and illness

• Qualified providers of rehabilitative medicine and preventative service

MATA Day at Camden Yards

Greetings fellow Maryland ATs!  It's time for the 3rd Annual MATA Day at Camden Yards

Come hang out with your fellow ATs before we all get back into Fall preseason!  This year MATA Day is being held Sunday, August 4 at CamdenYards when the Baltimore Orioles take on the Toronto Blue Jays at 1:05pm.  Tickets are just $20 for lower level seats - don't worry, they're under cover.  Bring the entire family - kids can run the bases on the field post-game, and all fans aged 15 and up receive a free Orioles cap!

The best part of all - proceeds from our ticket sales benefit the MATA PAC so you'll not only have a good time but can feel great about helping out your profession.  Tickets are available now through the link below.  Orders received by JULY 8 will be entered for an additional free prize courtesy of MATA.
