  • Navy Assistant Athletic Trainer David Florea earned the highest of praise recently from his colleagues, receiving the Free Communications Master’s Student Poster Presentation Award at the 2014 National Athletic Trainers’ Association Clinical Symposia held in Indianapolis last month.  Florea, who came aboard the Navy staff as an intern in July of 2013 and was later promoted to full-time assistant in January of 2014, received the award for his poster titled “Electromyographic Biofeedback Immediately Increases Corticospinal Excitability.”
